Better than the Rest: 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8

The all-new mid-engine 2020 Chevy Corvette is making its way in the market as the eight-generation C8 with a powerful engine behind the cabin with costs less than luxury vehicles. It is available in the body style of the coupe which features a removable roof panel and convertible car and delivers an outstanding performance.

The location of the engine has been replaced to a newer location i.e. behind the passenger compartment which has a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 490 horsepower and 470lb-ft torque. It has also dual performance mode in the Z51 package which includes truculent brakes, summer tires, etc.

The eight-generation doesn’t come with the manual transmission as it features an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and went 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and covers quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at a top speed of 122mph. The corvette delivers valiant handling which at the time of off-roading and adventurous ride.

The all-new eighth-generation Corvette C8 features two-seats with a mid-mounted engine and interior that comes with fine leather materials, metal, and stitched headliner. With removable roofs like other Corvettes that fit inside the trunk of the car. It features a squared steering wheel with an infotainment system of 12.0-inch gauge display all the features are properly placed to make it more driver-friendly.

The cabin is quite spacious with features like climate control features and fine materials i.e. carbon-fiber trim, sewn leather in interior surfaces, 13 cubic feet of storage space. The new Chevy offers an Infotainment 3plus system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with standard features like Apple car play and android auto.

The 2020 Corvette C8 has been stepping in the market with all-new features from top to bottom. The C8 features six different trim levels.

• 1LT coupe: $59,995
• 2LT coupe: $67,295
• 3LT coupe: $71,495
• 1LT convertible: $67,495
• 2LT convertible: $74,295
• 3LT convertible: $78,495

In the base model, there is lesser availability of driver assistance features but with the up-gradation in trims, C8 comes with a set of driver assistance features such as rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, etc.

The Chevy hasn’t revealed the release date of 2020 corvette C8 but it will be in the market in the spring of 2020, they have opened the window for pre-order.

Chevy has revealed the pricing for C8 it will be $59,995 with the inclusion of a $1,095 destination charge.
